You can dance to a great range of tempos (also very fast) with any partner (from freshly beginners to advanced dancers). You breathe connection and you no longer need to think about basics! Sometimes you might have connection issues. You want to improve your style by getting to know the style of the teachers.

You have a strong command of Balboa fundamentals and a solid range of variations. You are comfortable combining figures and adapting them to different tempos, including faster music. You’re ready to focus more intentionally on technique, connection, and clarity in both leading and following.

At this level, you aim to make your dancing more consistent, controlled, and responsive. You want to deepen your musical awareness, refine transitions between movements, and develop a more personal style. You’re interested in expanding your repertoire with new patterns and variations while learning how to use them creatively and with purpose on the social dance floor.

Connection comes naturally to you, and the basics feel effortless. You can lead or follow complex variations with ease and stay confident even at fast tempos or with challenging music. In this level, you'll focus on refining your style, exploring advanced techniques, and deepening your understanding of ryhthm and musical interpretation. Your teachers will inspire you with their own styles an challenge you to push your creative boundaries.

• We want to keep our classes relaxed and enjoyable, so we aim to avoid formal auditions. However, the teachers will observe the level at the beginning of the class. If it turns out that you don’t yet meet the requirements, you’ll be asked to move to the lower level 3, which takes place in the afternoon. We trust that you’ll make a realistic choice in advance so we won’t have to make any changes during class – it’s more pleasant for everyone that way.

Please remember: dancing at a higher level isn’t about how long you’ve been dancing or how many moves you know – it’s about the quality of your movement, connection, balance, and musicality.
