Friday Specials 2025

Slow Bal Intermediate (2h) with Lucia & Javi

You know the basics and some variations in Slow Bal. Expand your repertoire and become more playful with counterbalance, clear transitions, pivoting and changing tones in connection. You want to learn new moves and variations to spice up your dancing. You also want to find your own style and be more musical by getting to know the style of the teachers.

Cannot be combinded with Shag Friday Special

Shag Special (2h) with Sandy & Fancy

This is an open level class from Intermediate to Advanced. You should dance Collegiate Shag regularly in weekly classes and/or events. Topic: Teacher's Choice!

Cannot be combinded with Balboa Friday Special

Mixing Shag & Bal (2h) with Larissa & Heiko

To join this class you should dance both dances (Balboa and Collegiate Shag) minimum on an intermediate level or higher.

Collegiate Shag Levels 2025

Collegiate Shag Intermediate (4h)

You know the basics and some variations in Collegiate Shag, but you might still feel a bit lost on the social dance floor sometimes. You want to improve your dancing skills and learn new patterns to feel confident and have more fun on the dance floor.

Cannot be combined with Balboa Level 4

Collegiate Shag Advanced (4h)

You can dance to a great range of tempos (also very fast) with any partner (from freshly beginners to advanced dancers). You breathe connection and you no longer need to think about basics! You can lead or follow variations and complex patterns without thinking. You feel confident on the social dance floor and even fast or difficult music won’t stop you! Sometimes you might have connection issues. You want to improve your style by getting to know the style of the teachers.

Balboa Levels 2025

Balboa Level 2 (4h)

You know the basics and some variations in Balboa, but you might still feel a bit lost on the social dance floor sometimes. You want to improve your dancing skills and learn new patterns to feel confident and have more fun on the dance floor.

Cannot be combined with Balboa Level 3 and Level 4

Balboa Level 3 (6h)

You know all the basics and many variations in Balboa. You want to improve your dancing skills and learn new patterns to feel better and confident on the dance floor. You can dance to a great range of tempos. You want to find your own style and be more musical. You want to learn new moves and variations to spice up your dancing.

Cannot be combined with Balboa Level 2

Balboa Level 4 (6h)

You breathe connection and you no longer need to think about basics! You can lead or follow variations and complex patterns without thinking. You feel confident on the social dance floor and even fast or difficult music won’t stop you! Sometimes you might have connection issues. You want to improve your style by getting to know the style of the teachers. This is the highest level at this weekend and many balboa teachers and scene leaders from other cities will be in this class. Please reflect, if this is already the right level for you!
